Professor Bamm's Common Usage and Applications for Used Sheet Pile

Deep Excavation- Professor Bamm loves digging in the dirt.  Deep Excavation is the process of removing earth and rock to make room for the next phase of the project.  All excavations exceeding 5' in depth require some form of shoring. Whether the excavation is temporary or permanent used sheet piling is the ideal choice in every application.  

Underground Parking- Professor Bamm says used sheet piling saves time and money when constructing underground parking structures and should be your ideal choice.  There are many advantages to using coated sheets as the permanent wall including ease of construction and the ability to be water tight and effectively withstand lateral soil and water loads. 

Bridge Abutment- Professor Bamm thinks the word "abutment" is soooo funny.  In his training he discovered they were at the end of bridges and support the soil where the bridge sits.  Sheet piling helps to retain the soil and transfer the weight load of the bridge to the deeper layers of the ground.

Vertical Walls- Professor Bamm's fondness of tall objects has carried over to vertical walls and the interlocking channels in sheet piling make it the ideal choice for strong walls that will last for decades.  Used commonly for roads and bridges, underground/subterranean structures, sound deflectors, and privacy walls. 

Coffer Dams and Combined Wall Systems- These are Professor Bamms's specialty and the perfect application for used sheet piling. Coffer Dams are temporary water tight structures that aid mainly in the construction of bridges. They usually consist of vertical sheet piling walls forming a closed perimeter and braced either internally or externally by a system of structural members of ties. 

Tunneling-  Professor Bamm loves to rev the engine of his Power Wheels in tunnels and nothing sounds better to reverberate that sound than sheet piles!  Sheet piling aids in faster execution of construction, are immediately load bearing upon installation, and can be guaranteed imperviousness to the outside medium and elements.
